THE REGION
Home Water
Eastern Pennsylvania is where David's story started. He grew up fishing the creeks and rivers of the region, and four decades later it's still where he spends much of his time on the water. That history matters. When you book a trip here with K's Outfitter, you're fishing with a guide who knows these waters by season, by hatch, and by the bend in the river where the fish hold.
From cold limestone spring creeks that fish well year-round to the larger freestone rivers that come alive in spring and fall, Eastern PA offers some of the most rewarding trout fishing in the Northeast. David handles the access, the strategy, and the gear. You just pick a date,
choose your trip style, and show up ready to fish.
THE RIVERS
EASTERN PA WATERS
01
Lackawaxen River
A river David has fished since childhood. The Lackawaxen offers a mix of wild and stocked trout in beautiful Northeast PA water, with the kind of varied currents and structure that reward an angler who knows how to read them.
02
Little Lehigh Creek
A renowned limestone spring creek known for its consistent, year-round trout fishing and technical dry fly opportunities. Cold, clear water and steady hatches make the Little Lehigh a favorite for anglers looking to sharpen their skills.
03
Tulpehocken Creek
A celebrated tailwater fishery below Blue Marsh Lake, the "Tully" runs cold all season and holds healthy wild and holdover trout. Its consistent flows and reliable hatches make it one of the most respected trout streams in the region.
04
Bushkill Creek
A limestone stream known for its strong trout population and rewarding technical fishing. The Bushkill's cold, fertile water produces steady hatches and the kind of selective fish that make every landed trout feel earned.
05
Delaware River
The big water of the region. The Delaware system offers world-class wild trout fishing across a large, dynamic river, with strong hatches and the chance at sizeable fish for anglers ready to cover water.
TARGET SPECIES
Fish of Eastern PA
Eastern Pennsylvania is trout country first and foremost, with wild browns, brook trout, and stocked rainbows across the region's creeks and rivers. Depending on the water and the season, trips can also encounter bass, panfish, and other warmwater species. David tailors each trip to what's biting and what you're hoping to catch, and he'll tell you honestly what's fishing well before you book. Whether you're after technical dry fly fishing, easygoing spin casting, or your very first cast, there's a trip style built for it.

"I had the pleasure of fishing with Dave in Pukaski NY. This was our first time fishing fir steelhead and he put us on fish, even though it was 24 degrees with 38 degree weather. He is very knowledgable of the area and knew the local regulations (I did not know Pulaski had their own!). He was very patient with us newbies. I would be happy to go out with him again"
